1. Introduction
These are the terms and conditions that apply when you order an Energy Performance Certificate ( EPC) from Wirral Energy Assessors for a domestic property. If there is anything that you are unclear about with regard to these terms and conditions, then please seek clarification from Wirral Energy Assessors.
2. About Wirral Energy Assessors

3. Services
Wirral Energy Assessors carry out energy assessments on domestic properties and produce EPCs using the data collected.
4. Quotations
Upon our receipt of a quotation request for an EPC a quotation will be provided by mail, e-mail or phone and it will be valid for 30 days.
5. Commissioning
When the quotation has been accepted and we receive an order for an EPC and we have received the property details and payment, a confirmation will be provided by mail or e-mail which will include the time and date of the energy assessment ( which will be by mutual agreement )
6. Payment
Payment is accepted by cash, bank transfer, cheque or Paypal and will be payable in full at the time of the order or on the day of inspection.
7. Rights of Cancellation
You have a right to cancel an order at any time, for any reason, up to the agreed date of the energy assessment. Any costs incurred by Wirral Energy Assessors will be deducted from any refund due.
8. Property Information
The price of the EPC is based on information you give to us and as such relies on this being accurate. If this information is found to be inaccurate then we reserve the right to amend the price accordingly.
9. Our Liability
Wirral Energy Assessors recognizes the Clients statutory rights. Wirral Energy Assessors shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any description whatsoever arising from the delay in the production of an EPC arising from any third party action.
In any event Wirral Energy Assessors liability shall be limited to the amount of our Fees received by Wirral Energy Assessors in respect of any EPC from which such liability may arise.
Wirral Energy Assessors shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that the Client may suffer as a result of Wirral Energy Assessors being unable to fulfill any of its obligations herein due to the occurrence of an event of force majeure, which term shall include but is not limited to legislative and regulatory acts of government, armed conflict, civil insurrection, strike, lockout, computer failure, failure of power supplies, earthquake, typhoon, tidal wave, and Acts of God.
10. Cancellation
We reserve the right to withdraw, for any reason, any quotation for an EPC at any time prior to the date of carrying out an assessment. We will do this in writing by mail, e-mail or phone and if any monies have been taken these will be returned in full. |
